Graduate Record Examination (GRE)

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is usually a requirement for admissions, scholarships or assistantships at a graduate school in most American universities. GRE scores are an admission requirement for Masters or doctoral programs in different fields other than the management. Good GRE scores are one of the decisive factors for both admissions scholarships at reputed American universities. It is a Computer Adaptive Test administered at USEF in Nepal. The test assesses student’s verbal, quantitative and analytical writing skills that are required for success at graduate level.

The test has the following structure:

An information bulletin for GRE can be collected from the USEF at Gyaneshwor. Students should register for the test online or by sending the application form and the test fee to the regional office of Sylvan Learning Centre in Malaysia. USEF in Nepal serves as a test center only. Students can get more information at www.gre.org.

Avenues International conducts a six-week long preparation course on GRE preparation, two hours every day or a longer one as per the requirements of the candidates.

Students can enroll for any classes between 7AM and 7PM from Monday to Friday.

Students who are going particularly to the USA or Canada are advised to take this test.
