European Union is a group of 27 countries and their economies are interlinked with each other. Citizens of individual countries can work any where in European Union. Czech Republic became a member of European Union with effect from May 1, 2004 and from January 2008, Czech Republic will be further covered by Schengen Visa. The Czech Republic is located in the Central Europe and it share borders with four countries namely Germany (Western Border), Poland (Northern Border), Slovakia (Southern Border) and Austria (Eastern Border).
Selected Qualified Workers are given the opportunity to apply for Permanent Residency after un-interrupted stay and work for 5 years. However, Highly Qualified Workers can obtain permanent residency after 1 ½ years only while standard category of qualified workers can obtain permanent residency after un-interrupted stay and work for 2 ½ years. Starting from July 1, 2007, Highly Qualified Workers Category includes the Pilot Project participants with university level education, who are working on the positions requiring university level education and corresponding to their qualification i.e. education or their practice.
Together with qualified workers, their family members are also allowed to settle in Czech Republic and obtain residence there. Under the Pilot Project, if participants loose their job through no fault of their own in the first year, then they are entitled to a 45 days grace period during which they do not loose their visa and their residence permit is not revoked. During this grace period, they are expected to search another job in the Czech Republic and in the course of following year, the participants are again given the grace period, if they loose their job for other reasons.
Czech Pilot Project is a unique project, which helps foreign workers from non-European Union countries to obtain jobs + Permanent Residence Permit in Europe (especially in Czech Republic). A foreigner can get work visa and do job in many countries of the world but only Czech Republic gives right to a foreigner to get permanent residence permit status in 2 ½ years. The rights of project participants are also given to his family members. What’s more, Czech Government encourages a family to come along with a foreigner and even gives additional points for this. Czech Permanent Residence Permit Status gives almost same rights to its holders, as Czech Citizens excepting the right to vote and elected and allows a foreigner to integrate to Czech society. After getting permanent residence permit status, a foreigner can enjoy social advantages of being Czech and get grants in aid, buy property and children gain right to get free higher education. To participate in the project one is expected to get 25 points out of 66 points.

REGISTRATION OF A COMPANY IN CZECH REPUBLIC EASY WAY TO
Another way for relocation to Europe is to get a company registered in Czech Republic with the help of the consortium. The company with a limited liability is required to have minimum authorized and subscribed capital of € 7,000. Under this program, professionals, business persons and farmers can relocate to Czech Republic. The company so registered can remain dormant for three years and during that period, the immigrants can do a job and later on they are expected to make the company functional. Even if a profit of € 100 is shown in the third year, the legal formalities will be completed. The owner of the company and the dependent members of the family become eligible to permanent residency after 5 years un-interrupted stay in Czech Republic. Thereafter they can live and work or do business in any country in the European Union.
